Although no one can give a clear accounting of the number of deaths, the best estimates are that at least 400,000 people have been killed.  However many have died, we are using this number to represent all those killed and all the other victims of the genocide in Darfur.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In memory of these 400,000, and in hopes that the genocide can come to an end, our campaign aims for 400,000 people to complain to Fidelity.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are asking that people join us by the thousands and tens of thousand, to take an action that is well within their power, to complain to Fidelity about their involvement in Sudan, to tell Fidelity that we don't want them to continue to help fund the genocide in Darfur.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please join us in taking &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:arial;font-size:100%;"  &gt;action for responsible investment and be one of the "400,000 Voices for 400,000 Lives" for Darfur. Sudan's oil revenue is providing arms and funding for the  genocide, rather than economic development for the poor people of Sudan. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:arial;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:arial;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;br /&gt;Despite the atrocities in Darfur, Fidelity, through its mutual funds, not only has been a major  investor in two of the largest oil companies operating in Sudan, PetroChina  (PTR) and China Petroleum (SNP, aka Sinopec), but it has been significantly  increasing its holdings and is the single largest  public shareholder in PTR (on the NYSE).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:arial;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fidelity has been unresponsive to privately expressed concerns.
